Closer look at Trump SoHo and Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group

Bayrock Group, founded by Tevfik Alif (Turkish-Kazakhstani) in 2001, develops high-end real estate in New York City. Bayrock Group was born in another country.

What is the Bayrock Group, and who is Tevfik Arif?
Bayrock Group was started by Tevfik Alif, who was born in a Turkish family living in Soviet Kazakhstan.

Tevfik received a degree from the Moscow Trade and Economic Institute in International Relations.

After 17 years of serving as a minister, the minister was able to retire in 1991, and then set up several businesses. He was interested in business after the economic reconstruction of former Soviet nations began.

Arif was a government official, and was able to network and work with a variety of business leaders. As a result of these invaluable skills and connections, he was able to increase his business opportunities.

The brother of his and he purchased the Akytyubinsk Chromium Chemicals Plant, (ACCP) in Kazakhstan in part of a joint venture. Tevfik Arif had three businesses: luxury real estate development and food exports. Through his various enterprises, Tevfik Arif had many global partners.

After the move to Turkey, in 1993, he led the development of Turkey’s hotels that are all inclusive. He established the Labada Hotel in Antalya before going on to his next adventure across the Atlantic.

Tevfik Alif emigrated to the United States in 2001 as a way to expand his company and be closer with his American family.  Tevfik Arif Bayrock Group, a luxury real-estate development company was founded by Tevfik Arif in New York City.

Tevfik Arif Doyen Bayrock was not able to get his first projects off on the ground, despite Arif's efforts to understand and connect with the market in his area.

He ultimately decided to focus on Manhattan's famous real estate market.  Bayrock Despite the difficult nature of New York real estate, Arif was a seasoned investor and business entrepreneurial.

Bayrock Group's headquarters have been relocated to situated in the Manhattan's Trump Tower.

Bayrock Group originally executed small-to medium-sized projects in New York. Loehmann's Seaport Plaza, Brooklyn's Sheepshead Area was an example of a building that Bayrock Group renovated.

After Bayrock Group was established, Tevfik Arif became even more determined. He wanted to work on more significant projects, and therefore he changed Bayrock Group's strategy.

Bayrock Group's New York City offices were moved to Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue as part of his latest strategy.

The move brought the business closer to the Trump Organization, which was a significant advantage. It is home to the world-renowned family business.

Bayrock Group and The Trump Organization shared the same vision for luxury real estate projects. Therefore, they joined forces.

Tevfik Arif Doyen In the past, the Bayrock Group was working with Sapir Organization for another project in Spring Street in Manhattan's SoHo area.

The incorporation of Trump Organization into that project would boost Bayrock Group and the Sapir Organization; Tevfik Arif knew brand recognition.

Tevfik Arif Bayrock Arif came up with an agreement which gave the Trump Organization 18% ownership in the building , in exchange for using the Trump logo.

Bayrock Group, Trump Organization as well as Sapir Organization approved the deal.

In 2006 the first brick was laid in SoHo.

The construction of the building took two years. it was ready for inauguration after two years.

Trump SoHo was built by design experts
Trump SoHo opened with apartments and hotel rooms, as well as luxury bars and restaurants, a pool, a banquet hall, spa and event rooms.

The 46 floors all offered stunning views from the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The hotel's 46 floors give incredible views of the city from its floor-to-ceiling windows.

Handel Architects designed this building. Its recent projects include the National September 11th Memorial and Museum and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel.

Rockwell Group for Bayrock Group was responsible for the interior design.

The company has completed initiatives that were completed in Seattle, Las Vegas, New York City's Climate Pledge Arena in addition to Las Vegas. The firm has also worked working in Spain, Mexico, Indonesia, and Mexico.

Tevfik Arif's Bayrock Group invests millions of dollars in the United States
The success of Trump SoHo led to Bayrock Group's partnership with the Trump Organization in planning luxurious real estate developments.

To use the Trump name they wanted to build structures similar to Trump SoHo in Arizona and Florida.

The 2008 financial crisis that affected American realty in the USA caused it to be impossible to build projects in Arizona or Florida.

Tevfik, Bayrock Group founder started to explore different projects in Europe as well as Central Asia after the U.S. market had changed.

Bayrock Group was active in the United States and invested over $2.5 Million in real estate assets.

Bayrock Group has been absent from any US real estate development project in recent times.

Tevfik has retired from most of his day-to-day tasks at Bayrock Group. But, he is an integral and trusted advisor to the group.
